So It seems for my next assignment for my Illustration Class i will be making either a 1 page black and white illustration and 1 coloured version of that OR a 4 Page comic for a Client's Book.
He came in and talked about it and such and said would pay for the most best idea, Nobody put their hands up to do the comics, so I think i should do it... yeep.. hopefully pull something good out of my ass within 4 weeks time... ackkk.. while managing other assignments by the end of the year.
Regardless of juggeling work and being busy all the time it will be worth it, because the client is paying money for the stuff and we get even more money for every book he sells, theres a word for it but i don't know what it is...
but whats even better, if he likes our stuff he will refer us to other design firms as he has done in the past...
...hmm.. Motivational.
...so what am i doing typing this i got to get to work...
Its confusing, he gave us 3 pages of a scene of his book he wants into the comic, hard to decipher what he wants in the speech bubbles and such.. I'll get though it.. i hope. ^^
You can alternate between the two. When DA is down come here - vice versa.
I love the fact you can choose your profile colours, and can see thumbnails without having to pay for it. =_=
Yeah... I was deleting old stuff in my DA account last year sometime, and saw some of my first stuff from when I was 15... D= Some of it was so horrible, I have no idea why people told me it was good. It was disgusting. lol
Ohh yeah did you buy all your stuff for when we go back to class? I was talking to that dude from Jacksons he's all like "yeah your not getting supplied stuff for your diploma course" i suppose they think were motivated enough to buy new art things.
Speaking of which copics are on sale for 7.00 BUYBUYBUYBUYBUYBUYBUYBUBYUBYBUY!
=\ I have what ever was left over from last year... Like paper and pens. So I'll buy new stuff on Monday.
I did get some erasers, pens, etc. yesterday from my dad's apprentice though. =) They got some really cute characters on them.
Definitely need some more Copics. x( I never replaced one of my skin tones that kept dying..
It's cheaper buying refills I suppose.. I should get that guy to show me how to do it. Unless you've been shown?
Nup, heaps of my copics have ran out too. because i use them wrong and waste heaps of ink, but i get the job done.
So yeah I want to be shown how to do it too, he explained you just get a pair of tweezers to pull of the nib and put ink in the copic - i'd rather be shown. =_=
